Grammie’s Heirloom Christmas Stockings

I started hand making Christmas stockings for my family in the 80’s when my children were young. I also made them for a few friends and their children. It wasn’t until recently with my children getting married and having families of their own that I started making them again for my grandchildren. My daughter Jenny has been saying to me for years, “Mom, you need to start making your stockings and selling them!” It wasn’t until she posted on her blog @jennycipoletti last August that we received an overwhelming request for stockings. It has quickly become my favorite thing to do. Each stocking is completely personal and uniquely handmade. No two are alike unless uniformity is requested.

I love sourcing fabrics from all around the world. Some of my fabrics come from France and Italy as well as the lace and some of the ribbons. I try and seek out unique items to create a totally personal, one-of-a-kind stocking. The stockings are made by hand with love, and I meticulously cross-stitch each name on the stockings.

My desire is to create one-of-a-kind stockings for life long family traditions.
